my friend said she actually read the interview and thought she dreamt it (cause it's totally too good to be true)

"A group of fans asked Kishimoto what he thought about the doujinshi and fanfics of this pairing. He simply responded that it was his favourite pairing and that he always collected stuff of it. In addition, he stated that he wanted to give the manga a Shounen-ai ending" (confirming it twice)

After the interview, Kishimoto revealed that Sasuke was based on his best friend from High School, whome he admired and loved very much, and that Naruto was a reflection of himself and the adventures he would have liked to experience when he was young. He also emphasized that in the series there is not a love triangle, but rather a circle, like a fish biting its own tail. Naruto like Sakura, Sakura love Saskue and Sasuke has special feelings for Naruto. However, he ended the note saying that Shippuden was going to be mainly about the fights and character development.</sub>

alright, let's get our facts "straight" here:
shonen-ai is NOT the same as yaoi =3. BL is a genre that includes both shonen-ai and yaoi, but the difference between shonen-ai and yaoi is like the difference between a cute shojou manga and hentai.

...although i doubt sasuke and naruto will ever kiss intentionally in the original (wouldnt' it be funny if they accidentally kissed again? xD)
