About the Contest
To help promote the word and nature of ACGNA, we are hosting an Illustration Contest! The winning entries will be turned into staff T-shirts, buttons, and banners for the company (and such sorts). Contest entries will be required to draw the official ACG Mascot and incorporate one OR all three themes of anime, comic and gaming.

Who is the ACG Mascot?
ACGNA’s mascot is Anzu Chigusa. A darling girl who really gets excited over her hobbies (anime, comics, games) and has high community spirit. Anzu loves to promote her hobbies to encourage the young and the old to get together with friends and family to enjoy time with one another and to share the same interests.

Don't worry so much about hair and eye colour.
Hair can range any where from brown, to orange, to red.
eyes can be blue, or green, etc...(but not like...PINK)

EXPECTATIONS!
• Entries must showcase the mascot, Anzu Chigusa. But you are free to add in any of your own or other characters from games, comics, or anime (Disney excluded). However, no copyrighted images may be used, the image must be 100% your work.
• Entries must include the URL of ACGNA, acgnorthamerica.com, somewhere in the image.
• Entries must incorporate one OR all of the three themes: anime, comic, gaming.
• You may dress Anzu in whatever outfit you wish as long as you stick with the ACG colours: Orange, Brown, White, however it is more preferred that you draw her in her official outfit.
• Degrading or inappropriate entries will be deemed invalid.
• Entries can be done in any medium; however, the final submission must be digitally mailed, therefore, Online Entries Only.
• Entries submitted must have the minimum resolution size of 8.5x11” (300DPI) or 2550x3000 pixels ready to provide. However, the entries you choose to submit may of course be a reduced preview size.
• All contestants must be 13 or over in order to participate.
• You may submit more than one entry.
• By submitting the entries, you are legally entitling ACGNA to use your images for its purpose.

Judges, Deadlines, and HOW/WHO TO SUBMIT TO!

All entries will be judged by ACG North America’s Art Director (Holly Shinguji (aka. me)) and the creative assistant, Qing Han.


[HOW-TO-SUBMIT]
1. Please upload your entries onto DeviantART or other public image hosting websites (we would like to promote the word of ACGNA)

2. Send an email to: contest1@acgnorthamerica.com with:

Subject title: ACGNA CONTEST ENTRY Content: URL(s) linked to your uploaded entry.

Please DO NOT add attachments unless you were specifically asked by us to provide a higher resolution of the entries. (and please DO NOT send either me or =Kaze-Hime entries by DA Note System!! We won't read them!)

The Submission Deadline is: September 30th, 2008, 6PM EST (Toronto, ON, Canada time zone)

Winning entries will be announced as soon as possible. All decisions are final.




And of course, international entries accepted.
