lol, this was actually supposed to be for an animation for school....but i added details and coloured it in photoshop....omg, the lineart took me so long D:~~
lol, so tired "orz still at school cause i have no internet at my appartment D:~~
btw, does anyone want to see the animated version? it's nothing big, just the pendulum swinging back and forth, that's all ~ but..dunno.....
i might actually CG it o.o; but dunno...i might just leave it as it is...i kindda like it as it is actualy xD;;~
Awesome drawing. The line art is gorgeous, the anatomy and perspective are great, and the composition is well balanced. I do kinda wish the hatching wasn't there in the shading on the dress, because it stands out as looking artificial in a drawing that otherwise has a strong sense of realism, as far as realism in fantasy is concerned. You could trying shading to show the gears as a little more seperate from the pendulum, but that's just a small detail. The texture and background are awesome, though, and the color choice is very appealing---excellent use of bluish and orange-ish tones. Favorited.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
