Gonna relate myself a bit here, no need to read if you guys are not interested... just chattering.
I've never had a girl friend, never been on a date, never kissed a girl (outside my mom), never even held hands. I'm currently over 21, but I've still got many more years for that sort of thing, but yeah, up in high school and college, there were/are many perservering, intelligent, friendly, caring, and just plain wonderful women. I've befriended many of them, though I've never had the nerve to really ask a girl out. So far as when I've seen each one get a boy friend, I'll always celebrate with them and encourage them to keep together and to be strong. I always love seeing couples get together, to me it's like a tiny miracle. The true miracle is when the relationship does endure. I cannot recall ever having bad will or intention in any of these situations. Perhaps a moment or two of sadness, but mostly just happiness.
Well, hey, as stated before, I've got many many years to go, it's no giant worry. Too much to do, get through college, get my own car, get a well paying job, a decent house. I am really just so happy that I have seen so many wonderful women. It gives me hope that I will indeed find the one for me one day. More than just her eyes or her perfume. More than her speech patterns, or the way she holds herself. More than the thousands of random factors that apply to each human, but it is here personality that shall shine through everthing and what shall endure through the years. That's my philospophy and it's gotten me this far.
This is not exactly the place for chattering. I do apologize for my tiny recollection, though I definitely had fun typing it up.

Although -

But it was complicated. It didn't work out. My stomach twists into knots whenever she is mentioned in a conversation.
