Oil painting again :D~ It's really fun! But really hard to control =A=;;~
Getting to this stage took about 2.5 hours, on 10 x 12inch canvas.

why did i choose a frontal view to reference from? gah! I'm really not very good with symmetry >A<;; I usually like to flip it in the computer to make sure it's looking okay hahaha....no flipping with canvas =A=;;

ps. I'm painting in this room with no mirror while waiting for my brother's art class to finish xD;.

pps. The blotches of colour on the side was because while I was painting the painting accidentally fell on top of my colour pallet =A=;;;.

This portrait has a lot of pleasant, warm colors. I would critique the fact that her lower lip is enormous, but perhaps that is a stylistic choice. It's interesting to see your work in a traditional medium.
