A Mermaid's Wish - WIP by Qinni A Mermaid's Wish - WIP by Qinni
This was actually a mock book-cover I was designing, until I realized that for the concept I was trying to portray, the anatomy and composition wasn't right; so now I'm re-doing the whole thing. This one doesn't have the concept I originally had in mind v_v;;. oh well.

This is the first version. I'm re-drawing everything for the second version right now in SAI. lolol. So we'll see the difference between my photoshop skills and SAI skills =P

for once, the whole thing was done in photoshop. This is the first time I transitioned black-and-white tonals into colour successfully, so I'm pretty happy with this one :). well, the colours at least xD;;.

thank you :) I've been on this website for awhile, but I just now made a full account. I was hoping for advice. I can draw some pretty great stuff with a paper and pencil, and my work I do digitally is OK. Is there any way to get my work from my paper to my computer? I don't have a scanner or anything like that.. or maybe even a free website or app where I can practice digital art? I don't want to pay for some fancy editor though.

Well, i personally take pictures with my camera, since my camera's pretty decent and takes colours better than my scanner. As for free app.....well, a look on google and here's a list of alternative free applications for art:…  I've personally always used fancy editors so i'm not experienced with the free apps :).

Facial expression superb, lovely, swirly sense of movement under water, great color and composition--a favorite!
