It was either taking a hiatus or quitting; been thinking of quitting dA for a while D;. Lots of my friends has quit and moved onto blogspot.com, and I'm not sure if I should do the same or not. dA has provided me with opportunities a few times - I'm really thankful for that, so I'm a little reluctant to quit. However, I don't think there's much deviantart is doing for me as an artist who wants to improve - I'm scared that I'll get stuck in the same-face rut one day, that a LOT of great devianart artist seems to become stuck in (you know, they see something they did is popular, then they just keep doing the same face at the same position over and over again only with different characters/fanart/hair colour/hair style/eye colour/lol. ), especially now that I'm focused on practicing speed painting faces. But I also don't want to be one of those people who says "BAWW, QUITTING!!!" and then comes back two weeks later, hahaha. so hiatus it is .

I've also been too involved in dA recently....even been browsing the front page, which I haven't done in a REALLY long time.... and it's taking up a lot of my time and is kind of useless because I haven't really found any new great artists through it :/ ....i can't seem to control myself when I fall back into the "go on dA" pit, hahaha. I've even been following dArama, which was fine when winter break was on, but is really not okay now that school has started. I also start to care and worry about what people are going to think about my art, which stresses me out and I can do with less stress right now.

I'm not sure how long I'll be gone. Hopefully by writing this journal, I'll keep myself in check and not check back to dA for a while (so yes, sorry, i won't be able to read/reply to your comments)

I'll still be doing my speed paintings, and I might upload them one day on dA, but for now, it's probably just going to go on my tumblr, because that's more private right now and not that many people are watching me there :3~
oh, i'll also be on CGhub, for the same reasons 8D;;~
